Step 1: Unbox and Verify Your Ledger Device
Unbox Carefully
Your Ledger device should come in a sealed box with:

Step 2: Download and Install Ledger Live
Ledger Live is the official app that connects with your Ledger device to manage your assets.
Visit ledger.com/ledger-live
Download the appropriate version for your operating system
Follow on-screen instructions to install the app
Do not download Ledger Live from third-party websites. Only use the official site to avoid malware or fake software.
Step 3: Set Up Your Ledger Device
Open Ledger Live
Click “Get Started” and choose your device (Nano X or Nano S Plus).
Initialize as New Device
Follow on-screen steps:
Choose a secure PIN code (4-8 digits)
Write down your 24-word recovery phrase on the provided recovery sheet
This phrase is your only backup. Never share it with anyone. Ledger will never ask for your recovery phrase.
Confirm Your Phrase
You'll be asked to confirm selected words from your recovery phrase. This ensures you’ve written it correctly.
Your Device is Ready
Once confirmed, your Ledger device is initialized and ready to use.
Step 4: Add Accounts & Manage Crypto
With your device set up, it’s time to manage your crypto:
Open Ledger Live
